The alarming new trend sweeping the internet through social media is encouraging girls to post pictures while apparently smoking cannabis. Increasing numbers of young women have been boasting about their alleged drugs use, captioning the snaps with hashtags like prettypotheads, girlswhosmokeweed, gangagirls and girlsgoneweed. One woman who declared she was an avid pot smoker was pictured sucking on a particularly large, glass bong and captioned the photo:. One image showed a glass bong pushed to the face of a guinea pig, although she claimed it was empty. But a ban in some nations is not stopping the girls getting their hands on the drugs, which is a class B substance in Britain. Several women who are listed as residing in New South Wales could be seen on Instagram packing a bong with what appeared to be cannabis, lighting the drugs and inhaling the smoke.

When the girl declined the invitation, McIntyre, masquerading as Katie, threatened to hurt her boyfriend and kill members of her family, according to federal prosecutors. McIntyre is also alleged to have sent explicit photos of himself to another girl, aged 12, via Facebook Messenger. Prosecutors say that McIntyre also threatened the girl with fines and expulsion from school, as well as jail time, when she refused to send him the photos.
